A first visit at Foudy Chiropractic includes postural analysis on dual scales, range of motion measured with a protractor, neurological and reflex testing, a surface EMG scan of nerve-root function, and high-frequency digital X-rays when indicated. You then return for a Report of Findings, where the diagnosis, the timeline, and the cost are explained against your own images before any long-term care is proposed. Adjustment visits are $90 and include every modality on the treatment floor.

The six things that get measured
- Dual postural scales. Weight-bearing differential, head tilt, shoulder level, pelvic rotation.
- Range of motion. Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar — measured with a protractor, not eyeballed.
- Neurological testing. Wartenberg pinwheel for the dermatomes, reflex testing at the knee and Achilles.
- Surface EMG. An EKG of your nervous system, read level by level. The software.
- Digital X-rays. AP, lateral, and AP open-mouth for headache cases. The hardware.
- Motion palpation. Validates the scan live, so you feel exactly what the screen shows.

You come back and Dr. Foudy walks you through it: what is actually going on, whether he can help, how long it will take, and what it will cost. All four questions, answered against your own images.

How long does the first visit take?

What should I bring?

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
Often yes, once the exam is complete. The full picture — including X-ray review — is what the Report of Findings visit is for.

He will say so and refer you to the proper specialist. That answer comes at the beginning, not after ten visits.
